PolaNight -Take Home Tooth Whitening Kit

Very popular procedure, will whiten most natural looking teeth shades.
This system uses 18-22% Carbamide Peroxide gels to oxidize stains.
Teeth are professionally cleaned first.
An impression mold is taken to fabricate a set of mouth tray.
The resulting custom-fitted mouth tray is then used at home to hold whitening gel bleach
applied to the teeth surface.
Best results are achieved after usage for 5 to 10 days.

DENTAL VENEERS

COMPOSITE and PORCELAIN TOOTH VENEERS

This procedure is more conservative yet a highly effective way to dramatically improve
the appearance of your smile and boost your self-confidence.
This is one of the quickest and most dramatic way to renovate your smile,
but can be used for minor repairs only, compared to a full crown.
Veneers can make crooked teeth appear straight, and can make uneven teeth match up ;

This procedure does not require any of your original tooth to be removed.
We use a choice of very high grade composite material to fix cracks,
chips and stains as well as to fill in unwanted gaps between the teeth
called diastemas.
This is an excellent method for repairing minor imperfections on the
anterior or front teeth.

Today's dental fillings are so much more advanced than the typical metal fillings of the past.
We use Tooth-Colored Restorations / Mercury Free Fillings that are bio-compatible,
and color matched to the rest of your teeth.
If your teeth are damaged or decayed, tooth-colored restorations may be the perfect solution.
These Fillings are strong and long-lasting, and they look very realistic.
We can match our white fillings to the exact original color of your teeth.
This procedures saves time and money, however they are not as strong as Porcelain,
and require repairs every few years.

Ceramic / Porcelain Inlay or Onlay are two types of fillings used in back teeth reconstruction.
Ceramic / Porcelain Inlays fill cavities, restoring strength and stability to damaged teeth.
They are molded to a precise fit and have a very realistic appearance.
Ceramic / Porcelain Onlays cover the entire biting surface of the damaged tooth;
they are used when a tooth is too decayed for regular fillings or inlays.
We make both our inlays and onlays from ceramic/porcelain material,

TOOTH CONTOURING AND RE-SHAPING

A great deal for your smile can be accomplished through small changes.
A small defect in your smile such as - chip in a front tooth, some worn edges, or shallow pits
or grooves in the tooth enamel, a minor fracture or overlap can be corrected by this
simple procedure.
This involves removing small amounts of surface enamel (1 to 2 mm) of one or more teeth
to compensate for the imperfections;
followed up with a smoothing and polishing of all the surrounding teeth.
This quick, painless, and inexpensive procedure can make a big difference in your smile.
The goal of tooth contouring and re-shaping is to change the size or shape of the teeth
so that slightly damaged or out of proportion teeth are brought back into alignment
with the rest of the dentition.

COSMETIC GUM SURGERY

Gum-lifts or Gigivectomy involves the removal of excessive gum tissue to make the teeth
appear longer, and create an aesthetically even gum-line.
People with a "Gummy Smile" or a "Long Tooth Smile" (excess gum covering the front teeth
and an upper lip that comes up high when smilling) or an uneven gum-line (which make

ATHLETIC MOUTHGUARDS

MOUTHGUARDS are flexible plastic appliances worn to protect the teeth, lips, cheeks,
tongue and jaw.

They are used during activities that can damage the teeth, most often during contact sports.
Properly fitted mouthguards can also help reduce the risk of head, neck and brain injury
by absorbing and dispersing some of the shock caused by direct blows to the face or chin.
Considering that the mouth is the most commonly injured part of the body during
CONTACT SPORTS, mouthguards should be an essential component in most physical
activities.

Mouthguards worn during physical activity can prevent jaw fractures, tooth fractures,
concussions, cerebral hemorrhaging, laceration or bruising of the lips, cheeks or tongue
and all sorts of dental trauma. Facial injuries, particularly dental trauma, can be
painful and costly.

There are three types of mouthguards:
STOCK, MOUTH-FORMED PROTECTORS and CUSTOM-MADE MOUTHGUARDS.

STOCK MOUTHGUARDS
- are pre-formed and come in many shapes and sizes.
However, they are bulky and can interfere with breathing and speech.
They can be adjusted by trimming the edges,
but this does not usually make them much more comfortable.
Furthermore, the teeth must be kept clenched to hold the mouthguard in place.
Not only are they awkward, but they offer the poorest protection.
Stock mouthguards can be found at most Pharmacy and Sporting Goods Stores.

MOUTH-FORMED PROTECTORS
- come in two styles and are found at most Sporting Goods Stores as well.
The first type is lined with acrylic or rubber, which molds to the teeth and then sets to keep its shape.
The second type is referred to as a boil-and-bite mouthguard.
The mouthguard is softened in boiling water.
While the guard is warm the user bites into the plastic, leaving an impression of the teeth.
The boil-and-bite guards can be re-softened and shaped if you don’t get the right fit on the first try.
Mouth-formed guards provide better protection than the stock mouthguards but can still be bulky
and interfere with breathing and speech.

CUSTOM-MADE MOUTHGUARDS
- are individually designed for each patient.
Since custom mouthguards are made from a cast of your teeth,
they provide the best comfort and protection.
They are more expensive, but most people report that they are well worth it.
Not only are they more comfortable, but they also optimize healthy breathing.

Custom mouthguards can be made in several colors and with team logos.

NIGHTGUARDS

NIGHTGUARDS - Snoring / Sleep Apnea Appliances
- are specially designed mouthguards made for the whole mouth, or just part of the mouth.
They are worn to protect the teeth from GRINDING (BRUXING)
or CLENCHING of the jaw while sleeping.
It can also help relieve sore jaws, worn teeth, headaches and neck aches.
It also prevents your teeth from wearing down or fracturing due to grinding.
Usually a spacer is attached to keep the rest of your teeth from touching.
